Fishleap padded toward the freshkill pile and chose herself a good plump vole.

Ripplebreeze went to join Fishleap at the freshkill pile. She choose a fat fish and settled down comfortably. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" she commented to Fishleap between bites of fish. "I'm planning on gathering a few herbs that I'm running low on. After that, want to join me for some hunting?"

" Yes its a beautiful day, and sure I could even help you to carry more herbs if you want." Fishleap mewed gentely. " Lets go now if you want, I have no task to do." She mewed after finishing her vole.

[Dawnsky]

"Sure," replied Ripplebreeze, finishing a last bite of fish. She stood up and stretched luxuriously, enjoying the sunlight warming her back, then began walking toward the camp entrance.

Fishleap followed Ripplebreeze and left the camp with her. " So, what herbs do we need to gather?" She mewed with curiousity.

[Dawnsky]

"Let me see," said Dawnsky, running through her mental checklist. "I need some more poppy seeds, feverfew, and some comfrey."

" Okay, poppy seeds feverfew and comfrey." Fishleap murmured for herself but too loud so Ripplebreeze heard.

[Dawnsky]

"Yes," said Ripplebreeze, smiling. They were walking through a more wooded area now, near one of the many small streams that populated Riverclan territory, and Ripplebreeze caught the tangy scent of feverfew on the air. Looking around, she saw the small bush a few paces away. "Look, there's some feverfew now," she said, walking over to the bush by the water. Looking back at Fishleap, she said "We need to pick as many leaves as we can carry. Just strip them off the stem." She started to work, stripping off the leaves with the speed that comes of long practice.

Fishleap started to strip the leaves until she had a big clump in the mouth. She felt a little clumsy while getting the leaves, she had never done that before.

[Dawnsky]

"I think we have enough now," said Ripplebreeze, who had a sizable pile of leaves herself. "Let's go and find some comfrey and poppy seeds." She picked up her bundle of leaves and tucked it under her chin, like she would when carrying a huge load of moss. She started following the stream. Further along the trees cleared out and there was a field great for finding comfrey.

Fishleap followed Ripplebreeze and clumsily tucked the leaves under her chin too. " Is that comfrey?" She asked.

[Dawnsky]

"Oh, those flowers over there?" said Ripplebreeze. "No, comfrey grows better in fields. A great place for it is this field right here. But first..." She walk over to a tree that had a hole between its roots. "I've hollowed out several caches like this one. They're really useful for temporarily storing herbs and prey. You can put your feverfew in here and it'll be safe while we get the poppy seeds and the comfrey." Ripplebreeze put her feverfew in the hole and moved aside for Fishleap.

" Okay ," Fishleap mewed around a mouthfull of herbs. She putted her feverfew in the hole and started to search comfrey." And, what comfrey look like ?" She asked.

[Dawnsky]

"Well, it has large leaves and bell-shaped purple, pink, or white flowers," replied Ripplebreeze, walking out into the field and looking all around her.

Fishleap saw something that looked like Ripplebreeze description. It was a huge clump. " Is it that?" She said.

[Dawnsky]

"Yep!" said Ripplebreeze, having turned to see what Fishleap had indicated. "Well spotted." She walked over to the clump. "Alright, we need to dig up the plant to get to the roots, which are what we need. Then we need to bite off the top part of the plant so we can take just the root." She demonstrated and got to work.

" Okay," Fishleap said starting to work. She was having now a huge clump. " Is that enough, do I need to put it in the cache?" She mumbled around a mouthfull of comfrey.

[Dawnsky]

"That's plenty, thanks. Would you mind taking mine back to the cache too?" Ripplebreeze asked. "I want to go look near the edges of the field. There might be some poppy there."

"Yes , and I'm very fast so I could go put most of the cache content in your den no? I will come back after."Fishleap mewed gently.

[Dawnsky]

"Oh, sure, that'd be great. Just put them on the floor of my den, please. Thanks for your help!" Ripplebreeze started to walk away, tasting the air for the scent of poppy seeds.
